- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Well, what can you do when you live in Clovis and this is the only way to get water??? They're very quick to shut off your water and state that they will do it after 30days of nonpayment, however they do not wait 30days. They charge you an extra fee to get water turned on, on top of other fees/fines!!! You will get a big surprise days before the 30days. They're horrendous! I feel sorry for people who truly cannot afford that extra 60bucks to get water turned back on. The automated service, when you call, is a joke!! You have to wait an eternity to speak with a live person and they're hardly helpful at all, continuously referring you to the automated service!! I'm so glad that I'm rich and have all day to play their little phone games!! Dear Clovis Utilities, How about collecting payment while your at my doorstep instead of taking the time to turn off my water?? Put all those extra fees to some use and stop being thieves!!By Michelle S, April 22, 2017
